What to do if you cannot connect to your Deco remotely?
If you are experiencing remote connectivity issues with your Deco, this article will walk you through basic troubleshooting steps to resolve these issues.
Step 1.
Please check whether the mobile device with the Deco app installed has internet access or not when you are outside. If the mobile device doesn’t have internet access, it won’t be unable to manage Deco remotely.
Step 2.
Check if the Deco units have internet access. You can connect your phone to Deco’s Wi-Fi and then go to the internet on the phone to check.
If Deco doesn’t have internet access, click here to troubleshoot.
Step 3.
Test if you can manage Deco via the Deco app in the local network. If not, reboot all the Deco units for a try.
Step 4.
If you can manage Deco in the local network but not remotely, try to change the DNS server on the Deco app, and here is the instruction.
