Single press the SYNC button on your hub for 1 second to enter the pairing mode. The LED should blink blue.

When you set up the devices you want to pair with the hub in the Tapo app, the hub will go to pairing mode automatically. You can follow the instructions to complete the pairing.

1. Open the Tapo app and tap + on the top right.

2. Select your device model.

3. If you have more than 1 hub, you’ll need to select a hub you want to pair with. If there is only 1 hub, you’ll skip this step.

Note: There are 3 kinds of connection states of the hub, including Light, Moderate, and Dense. For optimal performance, avoid connecting more devices when the connection is Dense.

4. Follow the app instructions to set up your device and pairing with your hub.
