If you are running into trouble connecting your Tapo Robot Vacuum to your home’s Wi-Fi network, there may be various reasons, which we will explore below, as well as their solutions:

Your router’s 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal may be poor or unstable at the vacuum’s location.

Please make sure the robot vacuum is in an area where your router’s 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong.

Failure to connect the Robot Vacuum to Wi-Fi during setup.

We suggest performing a Wi-Fi reset on the vacuum, then download the latest version of the Kasa app and try again.

The password for your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network was entered incorrectly.

Please verify, and re-enter the password if need be.

The Tapo Robot Vacuum only supports the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency band.

Ensure your router’s 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band is enabled and provides signal at the vacuum’s location.
