What is 3DS authentication?

3D Secure (3DS) authentication is a security protocol designed to secure online payments. It enhances the security of online transactions and prevents fraudulent activities. Depending on the policies of your issuing bank or payment provider, you may be required to use 3DS authentication.

During the 3DS authentication process, you will be prompted to provide supplementary verification details, such as a password, SMS verification code, or fingerprint scan. These details are cross-referenced with your banking information to verify your identity and the legitimacy of the transaction.

How do I allow 3DS authentication if my subscription purchase for Tapo Care fails?

1. Please log in your account on the Tapo Care website.

2. Click the  icon next to the “Subscription Renewal Failed”

3. when the pop up appears click on “Verify Now”.

4. follow the instructions provided to complete the authentication process.
