How to add the sensor to the Deco network?

  • Launch the Deco app, tap the Add icon at the upper right corner, choose Smart Devices -> Sensors -> Door/Window Sensor (Securifi) -> NEW DEVICE.
  • Remove the sensor cover, then press the Join/Reset button for less than 1 second.
  • Tap NEXT when the LED is blinking, the app will say Searching…
  • Wait up to 60 seconds until the device is discovered. If not, tap SCAN AGAIN.
  • When the device is discovered, tap NEXT and choose a location for it. Then tap DONE, and the device will list on the app.
  • Put the cover back on the sensor.

 

How to reset the sensor?

  • Remove the back of the sensor.
  • Press and hold the “Join/Reset” button (C) for 15 seconds until the green LED (D) lights up briefly.

How to add the sensor to the Deco network?

  • Launch the Deco app, tap the Add icon at the upper right corner, choose Smart Devices -> Sensors -> Door/Window Sensor (Securifi) -> NEW DEVICE.
  • Remove the sensor cover.
  • Press the Join/Leave button for less than 1 second.
  • Depress the tamper switch for 3 seconds before inserting the battery. Insert the included battery. Release the tamper switch while the LED is illuminated.
  • Tap NEXT when the LED is blinking, the app will say Searching…
  • Wait up to 60 seconds until the device is discovered. If not, tap SCAN AGAIN.
  • When the device is discovered, tap NEXT and choose a location for it. Then tap DONE, and the device will list on the app.
  • Reattach the cover of the sensor and make sure it snaps in place properly.

 

How to reset the sensor?

  • Open the case backing and remove the battery (A) from the sensor.
  • Keep the tamper switch (B) pressed while re-inserting the battery (A) and release it while the LED is illuminated.

Troubleshooting

Fail to add the sensor / the sensor is offline/unreachable

  • Move the sensor closer to the Deco router;
  • Avoid physical obstructions and radio interference in the surrounding area;

Reset the sensor and re-add it to the Deco network.
