TP-Link'S TL-WR941ND WIRELESS ROUTER WINS RUSSIAN AMD CLUB'S COST-EFFECTIVE AWARD

Russia's Always More Digital Club (http://www.amdclub.ru) has provided an extensive review of TP-Link's TL-WR941ND 300Mbps Wireless Router for users in Russia. In its top-to-bottom review, the website looked at everything from the router's case and antennas to the technologies that allow it to reach such high speeds and range. The diligent testers even went so far as to take the device apart to look at the chip technology within the router, noting that TP-Link is involved in every aspect of our products, not just firmware, but hardware as well.

The review goes on to the simple installation of the product, noting the simple setup was ideal for home users. Once set up, the site went through the router's various security features, primarily the Quick Security Setup (QSS) and the Firewall options to protect against viruses and virtual intruders.

After setting up the router's basic functions, which are sufficient for most end-users, the review goes on to point out the more in-depth functions located within the web-based user interface, the most striking of which were the parental control functions allowing network administrators to limit access to certain sites via the network, as well as the times at which it is accessed for children and employees. Also mentioned were the TL-WR941ND's QoS functions, allowing users to determine how much bandwidth is allotted to each PC on the network to ensure the most efficient use of network resources.

The router preformed well in tests against competitor routers of a similar standard, while being much more affordable, for which it was awarded the Cost Effective Award.
