TP-Link Responds to Victoria Bushfires in Australia

TP-Link Corporation Limited. ("TP-Link"), a global provider of SOHO networking products and No.1 market share holder in China, responded to the Victoria bushfire disaster in Australia.

TP-Link and its people are greatly concerned with the victims caught in the fire-devastated areas. Mr. Jeffrey Chao, the director of TP-Link Corporation Limited business, donated AUD4, 500 to Australian Red Cross for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009 on behalf of all employees. We hope that this little goodwill will go towards providing some assistance to individuals and communities in towns and suburbs affected by this catastrophe.

The Victoria bushfire disaster has proved to be the deadliest in Australian history, worse than Ash Wednesday bushfire which killed 71 in 1983. The Australian police confirmed on Thursday (February 19, 2009) that 200 people have perished across the state of Victoria and hundreds more have been injured by blazes sweeping across Victoria state, leaving over 7,000 people homeless and turning 850 square miles (544,000 acres) of bushland into ashes.

Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.
