TP-Link Wireless N Router TL-WR841ND has gained Editor´s Award from PC3 magazine in Hongkong, China. Its reliable quality and competitive price has again won the heart of the editors.

The Atheros XSPAN technology adopted in this wireless router has been highly appreciated by the editors. Compared to legacy products and competitive 802.11n products, users can expect significantly higher throughput at longer distances with products based on XSPAN technology.  This is particularly true of products containing XSPAN with SST (Signal-Sustain Technology), just like the TP-Link TL-WR841ND.

Featuring XSPAN, SST and 2T2R MIMO, TL-WR841ND delivers higher speed and greater coverage. The test to determine data-receiving abilities and  transfer speeds in different positions  set a laptop embedded with an Intel WiFi Link 5300 at a distance of 10cm, 6m, and 5m (with a wall obstructing the signal) from the routers. TP-Link´s TL-WR841ND performed best among all tested products.

The editor also mentioned the CCA technology embedded in TP-Link TL-WR841ND.
"As more and more people use wireless routers, the disruptive influence between different networks is a common occurance. CCA (Clear Channel Assessment) technology solves this problem successfully, avoiding disturbances and keeping the signal stable."

In addition, simply by pressing the QSS button on TL-WR841ND, WPA2 connection will be automatically established, allowing users to worry less about security risks and more about an enjoyable Internet experience.

TP-Link TL-WR841ND is also seamlessly backward compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g devices including game consoles and digital media players as well as current 802.11n devices.
