TP-Link Tapo Debuts First Matter-Certified Smart Switches and Plug In-Store at Best Buy

Irvine, Calif - June 26, 2023 – Tapo®, a TP-Link brand and global provider of smart home products, today launched three Matter-Certified products, including the Tapo Mini Smart Wi-Fi Plug (1-pack/2-pack/3-pack), Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch and Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Dimmer Light Switch as the first Matter-Certified smart switches and plugs available in Best Buy stores nationwide. These groundbreaking devices offer compatibility with all-certified smart home platforms, smooth LAN control, and multi-admin capability, bringing convenience to users' everyday lives. 

The Tapo Matter light switches allow users to control their lights from anywhere with the Tapo App and a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. It delivers a streamlined third-party integration solution, bridging the gap between ecosystems and standardizing the setup process.  

The Tapo Mini Smart Wi-Fi Plug provides scheduling and creates scenes with a wider range of smart devices. Users can control the Tapo Matter plug from anywhere via the Tapo app. Additionally, its Auto-Off Timer supports automatically turning off connected devices when the Tapo Matter plug is left on for a set time.
