How to Manually set up Surfshark WireGuard VPN in the Deco App
3338 The VPN Client feature is used to create VPN connections for devices in your home network and allows them to access a remote VPN server. To use this VPN feature, simply configure a VPN connection, then choose your desired devices on your Deco router, then these devices can access the remote VPN server. Please follow the steps below:
1. Launch the Deco APP, then navigate to More → Advanced → VPN Client, tap Add VPN Server, then choose Custom.
2. Select WireGuard, fill in the description, and import the .conf file you obtained from Surfshark.
If you are not sure how to get the .conf file, please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Login to the Surfshark Official Website,
Step 2: Click Products → VPN → Manual setup → Router
Step 3: Choose WireGuard and follow the steps below to generate a key pair for your VPN connection.
Step 4: After the key generation is complete, select the location of your VPN server and click the download button. Your browser will then start downloading a file in .conf format.
