The VPN Client feature turns your Deco into a VPN Client allowing device on your network to access a 3rd party VPN service, Line SurfShark.  This FAQ will take you through the steps of connecting your Deco to your SurfShark account.

  1. Open the Deco APP, go to More > Advanced > VPN Client.
  2.  Tap Add VPN Server, choose Custom.

  1. Select OpenVPN, enter the SurfShark username and password and import the config file required by SurfShark company.

Note: SurfShark service credentials are different from your SurfShark account credentials, namely your email address and your password. You'll need SurfShark service credentials to connect to the VPN using the manual OpenVPN configuration method in the router.

If you need assistance in getting this information you can follow the steps below.

  1. Find your login details

  1. Choose a SurfShark server by selecting the Locations tab, where you will see all of the SurfShark servers. It will ask to choose TCP or UDP.

Note: Only one configuration file can be uploaded at a time.
