Introduction

This article provides troubleshooting steps when Range Extender can not connect to the router.

The following models are primarily targeted at the German market.

Requirements

  • DSL Router like VX800v(DE)/VX231v(DE)
  • Range Extender

Troubleshooting

Step 1. Upgrade the Range Extender to the latest firmware.

The following Range Extender’s software supports the TS (Traffic Speration) function. If your device is not listed below, go to Step 2.

Step 2. Disable the router's Guest Wi-Fi and Multi-SSID, then check if WPS is possible to build the EasyMesh network.

Step 3. Press and hold the WPS buttons on both the Router and RE simultaneously until the Wi-Fi LED begins to flash.

Step 4. Go to Basic > Network Map > Topology > Check whether RE is added.
