How to set up VoIP on E.ON line on TP-Link DSL Modem Router
Introduction
This article introduces how to configure VoIP under E.ON's two-box fiber line.
Requirements
- DSL Router like VX800v(DE)/VX231v(DE)
- Telephones
- A Computer that can log in to the DSL router.
Configuration
Step 1. Log in to the web UI and navigate to Advanced > Network > 2.5G-WAN-LAN > Internet Setup.

Step 2. Click Add to configure one Internet connection with VLAN 132 and one VoIP connection with VLAN 232 if they do not exist, as follows.
- Configure Internet connection: Click Add, Service Type: Internet, enable VLAN ID, input VLAN ID(0-4095):132, enable IPv6, and click OK to save.

- Configure VoIP connection: Click Add, Service Type: VoIP, enable VLAN ID, input VLAN ID(0-4095):232, enable IPv6, and click OK to save.

When Internet setup works successfully, the page should be:

Step 3. Navigate to Advanced > Telephony > Telephone Number. Click Add or check the previous Telephone Number setting to set up a Telephone Number. Choose SIP Trunk with various number. And fill in all the information for E.CO, including Phone Number, Registrar Address, Telephone Numbers and Password.

Step4. Click Advanced, ensure the SIP proxy E.ON provided to you is filled into Outbound proxy and the SIP Proxy is 0.0.0.0, enable Register via Outbound Proxy. Click Save to save.

After the above settings, you should be able to use the telephone on your VX800v or VX231v.
