1. Download Aginet App

Go to Google Play or the App Store to download the Aginet App. Install the Aginet app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.

Scan the QR code or search for the Aginet App on Google Play or App Store.

2. Log in to Aginet App

Open the Aginet App and log in or create a TP-Link ID.

Note: Use your existing TP-Link Cloud account if you have one.

3. Select Device Type

Choose '4G/5G router' as your device type.

Select the device type as 4G/5G router in the setup process.

4. Select Operation Mode

Choose a mode based on your network source. The following article will primarily focus on the SIM card mode.

Choose either a SIM card or Ethernet cable as the network source.

5. Unbox and Verify Contents

Unpack the contents of the box. Once you verify you have everything, go to the next step.

Unbox the 4G/5G router and check all contents for setup.

6. Insert SIM card

Insert a SIM card into your router.

Insert a SIM card into the router's SIM card slot.

7. Power on router

Turn on your router.

Power on the 4G/5G router.

8. Wait for the Power LED

Wait until the Power LED is solid, indicating the router is ready.

Display the power LED status.

9. Connect to Default SSID

Connect your phone to the router’s default SSID printed on the bottom label.

Connect your smartphone or tablet to the router's default SSID, which can be found on its bottom label.

10. Set device password

Set a device password to access and control your router. Some providers may have pre-configured the password as this is a customized product. If you are unaware of the device password, look for it on the device's bottom label or reach out to your ISP.

11. Assign the Router to a Room

Assign your connected router to a room. This location will be used as this router’s name.

12. Confirm SIM Card Information

Confirm or customize the SIM card information. If you are not sure, contact your SIM card provider.

13. Create Wi-Fi Network

Create your Wi-Fi network name and password.

14. Connect to Wi-Fi

Connect your phone/tablet to the Wi-Fi you’ve created.

15. Setup Complete

Enjoy your router's network; the setup is complete.
