How to Set Up PPTP VPN Client in the Deco App
2316 PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) is a VPN protocol used to establish secure point-to-point connections over public networks, providing remote access and data transmission.
Please follow the steps below to set up the PPTP VPN Client in the Deco App.
1. Open the Deco App and log in to your TP-Link account.
2. Tap on More at the bottom bar, then tap on Advanced.
3. Select VPN Client and enable the VPN Client feature.
4. Add a new VPN client and choose PPTP
- Description: Enter a name for this VPN.
- VPN Server: Enter the server IP or the domain name.
- Username and Password: Enter the account information for the server.
5. In the client permissions options, select All Clients if you want all devices connected to your network to be able to use the VPN. Select Client List if you want to restrict VPN access to specific devices. If you choose Client List, please add clients which are allowed to use VPN in the Client list.
