How to use Kasa Cam with Amazon Alexa

The TP-Link Kasa camera can work with Echo Show, Echo Spot and Fire TV currently, after setup the Kasa camera work with Amazon Alexa successfully, you can view the Kasa camera on the Echo Show/Echo Spot/Fire TV.

Note: Fire TV requires to be attached to a display device.

The following Alexa commands are supported by the Kasa camera.

Show the camera live feed:

“Alexa, show me the [Camera Name]”

Stop the camera live feed:

“Alexa, Hide the [Camera Name]”

“Alexa, go Home”

“Alexa, Stop”

Currently Alexa doesn’t support “camera on/off” command due to possible security risk. For example, an intruder could potentially shut off your cameras with a simple command.
