TP-Link Launches Tapo Brand for Smart Home Consumers

Tapo P100 Mini Wi-Fi Socket with Smart Home Control
Tapo P100 is built to bring convenience from simple set up to intuitive use. Simply download the free Tapo app and follow its instructions[1]. Using Bluetooth on boarding technology, the Tapo P100 can be set up in within 20 seconds.
TP-Link’s Tapo P100 smart plug allows users to easily control and manage devices connected to the plug using their smartphones. The Tapo P100 works with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection without an additional hub and can be controlled from one single Tapo App available free on iOS and Android.
Using the app, users can access the smart plug’s Schedule and Timer features to create a weekly schedule and countdown plans. In addition, the Tapo P100 is equipped with an Away Mode feature; enabling users to designate periods of time where the smart plug will turn on and off at intervals, suggesting someone’s home and making any would-be intruder think twice.
All of your connected electronics will automatically work at your pre-set time, making life smart, convenient, and energy-saving. The smart plug is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, enabling users to use voice commands for even further ease in a modern smart home.
The Tapo P100 can be used for a number of applications to make the user’s life that much easier from setting timers on household appliances such as slow cookers and coffee machines to lamps.
Tapo C200: Easy Security at Your Fingertips
The Tapo C200 Pan/Tilt Home Security Wi-Fi Camera is designed for users to protect their homes and keep track of their loved ones. Equipped with 1080p resolution, 360° horizontal and 114° vertical range, and up to 30ft of night vision, Tapo C200 delivers a high-quality live viewing experience day and night. With a built-in microphone and speaker, users can take advantage of Two-way Audio via the Tapo app to keep in touch with their family anytime, from anywhere.
Its Motion Detection and Activity Zone features will send a notification to a user’s smartphone once suspected motion is detected. Teamed with its Sound and Light Alarm, users can trigger light and sound effects to frighten away unwanted visitors. The app interface shows the view from up to 4 cameras at the same time. Simply tap one of them to take a closer look.
For moments users don’t want to be captured on camera, the camera’s Privacy Mode will physically close the camera’s lens to further safeguard privacy. Furthermore, its local storage supports up to 128 GB Micro SD card, equalling 384 hours (16 days) of footage, to keep homes safe.
The free Tapo app puts everything you need at the tip of your fingers. With soft AP configuration, the Tapo C200 works with any Wi-Fi router without the need for a separate hub.
The Tapo C100 Home Security Wi-Fi Camera is a fully featured camera providing high definition video, recording every image in crystal clear 1080p definition. With the advanced night time vision, users can ensure they keep their home and belongings safe with notifications alerting them if it detects any movement to a distance of 30ft.
The Tapo C100 is equipped with the same privacy mode and local storage ability as the Tapo C200. Privacy mode allows users to shut down surveillance to protect their privacy whenever they want, whilst local storage stores up to 128 GB of footage.
