    We are looking for a driven Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving go-to-market activities, competitive intelligence, messaging and positioning of our products. You will be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work with the PM and engineering organizations to develop product positioning, messaging, and marketing collaterals including presentations, packaging artwork and other materials;
    • Identify key features in products that will appeal to customers;
    • Be an advisor to the sales team, communicate value proposition of products and develop sales tools to support the selling process ;
    • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our products;
    • Drive to develop brand new business within the B2B space using rich knowledge about products, especially focusing on the SMB range of networking products ;
    • Manage customer interaction and engagement , including project scoping , Statement of Work development, deliverable documentation and follow-up;
    • Gain insight into customer experience of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data;
    • Participate in product roadmap process, understand and communicate the impact of scheduled new product, feature and enhancement release on customers;
    • Influence product development by working closely with our product, marketing, and sales teams to collect and digest user feedbacks;
    • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competitor and how they are positioned;
    • Understand and support sales channels; train them on product knowledge and problem solving.

     

    Requirements

    • 5+ years minimum experience in the SMB/Enterprise Networking industry;
    • 5+ years minimum experience in product/marketing roles, with particular emphasis on the B2B industry;
    • Demonstrate the ability to effectively network across multiple functional areas in an organization;
    • Capability to be a self-starter, set priorities and collaborate with different elements of a business organization;
    • Experienced presenter who is a good storyteller and capable of tweaking presentations in real-time based on audience needs;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of authoring industry and product related blogs, white papers, and presentations;
    • Good technical understanding of the product portfolio and able to effectively communicate with a large audience with varying levels knowledge about product functionality;
    • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties;
    • Deep analytical and strategic thinking abilities, along with the ability to see the big picture from scattered pieces of information;
    • Able to collect and synthesize complex information, making it relevant, understandable and actionable for key stakeholders;
    • Full UK Driving license as you will be required to visit the office and customer premises on a regular basis.

    Key responsibilities

    • preparing accounts and tax returns
    • administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
    • working closely with auditors to complete field audit
    • compiling and presenting reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements

    • financial forecasting and risk analysis
    • Support month-end and year-end close process
    • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
    • Assist with tax audits and tax returns

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    • BS degree in Accounting, finance or relevant
    • 5+ years of accounting experience
    • Experience with Sage 50 Accounts or similar accounting software is essential
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month –end/year end close process
    • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
    • VAT Preparation and filing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly with Excel
    • Ability to reflect on one's own work as well as the wider consequences of financial decisions
    • Having experience or knowledge on international taxation is preferred

As market leaders in the consumer and SMB networking space TP-LINK UK LTD is looking for a driven, dynamic and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales team and bring new sales opportunities to the business. This will allow the successful candidate to make a significant impact and truly play a part in the development and success of the UK business moving forwards.

    The individual must have a solid background in business development, networking solutions, key account management and field sales experience, they will work within the TP-LINK B2B team and have good knowledge of the VAR and Distribution channel.

     

     Key job role and responsibilities:

     

    • To drive new business in the B2B space with particular emphasis on growing the TP-LINK Business Wireless and Managed Switch solutions. Primary channels include VAR, MSP, System Integrators, Public Sector and Network Installers.
    • Develop on-going sales and marketing plans for all key accounts with clear ROI and detailed planning. Work closely with the TP-LINK marketing team to help shape the messaging and key customer content.
    • Design and implement a strategy to develop the major System Integrators across the UK & Ireland, this will require a good understanding of this market and ideally working relationships you can leverage
    • Work closely with product management to help on-going product development of the TP-LINK Business Wireless and Switching portfolio. Provide comprehensive market analysis and idea’s on how to further enhance our product and service offering.
    • The ability to build and leverage distribution relationships to identify new reseller and B2B opportunities (Distributors include Exertis, Tech Data, Spire, CMS, Nimans)
    • Effectively communicate account progress and pipeline of opportunities to the TP-LINK management team through weekly reporting and regular meetings
    • Work within a team environment and offer support to other areas of the business when required, occasional tradeshow cover and training activities.
    • Segmentation and development of key partners using sound judgment and effective time management to develop Tier one customers, including the utilisation of the TP-LINK unmanaged account base to identify new development opportunities.

     

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Full UK driving license with a view to visit customers across the whole of the UK depending on office locations, this may entail occasional overnight stop-overs.
    • Strong customer facing skills with competence in training, presentations and professional business planning.
    • Ability to work in a team environment but also as an individual contributor, someone with self motivation and a desire to deliver results.
    • Minimum 5 years working experience within a Networking vendor, Distributor or Systems Integrator in a sales or pre-sales capacity
    • A basic understanding of Business Wireless and Managed Switch networking solutions

    • Have a passion for technology and the ability to grasp new technical concepts rapidly;
    • A can-do attitude with a focus on delighting users;
    • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills;
    • The ability to convey complex technical topics with simplicity;
    • The ability to collaborate and work across different teams, such as Sales, Support, Marketing.
