    We are looking for Marketing Assistant reporting to Head of Marketing of TP-Link UK Ltd. You will be Providing admin support for the whole marketing team, which will include clerical tasks as well as being responsible for marketing activity. You will ensure the smooth running of the team by responding to incoming enquiries and fielding requests from other divisions within the business.

     

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing the delivery of, tracking, analysing and reporting on the results of TPL and channel (MDF) campaigns
    • Competitive analysis tracking & reporting on competitor promos/launches and reporting back to the business
    • Using insights from the above two points to draw conclusions and provide insights into which campaigns/call to action are the most effective for future activity
    • Liaising with marketing suppliers to ensure that we get the best price and service
    • Managing the POS/Give aways for Channel and trade shows
    • Attending industry events, conferences and trade shows to provide support to sales and carry out competitor analysis
    • Be comfortable engaging with the TPL community on social media to build engagement and brand personality
    • Be the first point of contact Resellers and Sales Teams for common marketing assets (graphics/data sheets etc)
    • Maintaining repositories marketing assets including Icecat and other internal marketing resources
    • Managing the product review request process including tracking progress to decrease the time from dispatching product to review appearing
    • Create and maintain a system for tracking campaign cost and performance
    • Working with customer marketing teams to ensure marketing plans are executed on time, within budget and track performance enabling giving the team visibility of ROI

     

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    • Ideally degree educated, preferably with CIM qualification or similar.
    • Ideally some marketing/sales experience within a technology based environment, preferably with an IT consumer electronics or computer network industry,
    • Ability to work cross-culturally and adapt to different working practices and principles
    • Experience of planning and organizing events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
    • Experience of development, management and execution of communications through various media channels.
    • In-depth understanding and appreciation of all communication disciplines including internal communications and PR with proven track record of delivery and execution. 
    • Ability to understand the needs of business-to-business environment. 
    • Ability to liaise closely with partners and other departments and cope well under the pressure of tight deadlines on numerous projects.
    • Strong project management and organisational skills. 
    • Strong business and market analysis skills, have good sense of numbers
    • Excellent verbal and written marketing communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential.

As market leaders in the consumer and SMB networking space TP-LINK UK LTD is looking for a driven, dynamic and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales team and bring new sales opportunities to the business. This will allow the successful candidate to make a significant impact and truly play a part in the development and success of the UK business moving forwards.

    The individual must have a solid background in business development, networking solutions, key account management and field sales experience, they will work within the TP-LINK B2B team and have good knowledge of the VAR and Distribution channel.

     

     Key job role and responsibilities:

     

    • To drive new business in the B2B space with particular emphasis on growing the TP-LINK Business Wireless and Managed Switch solutions. Primary channels include VAR, MSP, System Integrators, Public Sector and Network Installers.
    • Develop on-going sales and marketing plans for all key accounts with clear ROI and detailed planning. Work closely with the TP-LINK marketing team to help shape the messaging and key customer content.
    • Design and implement a strategy to develop the major System Integrators across the UK & Ireland, this will require a good understanding of this market and ideally working relationships you can leverage
    • Work closely with product management to help on-going product development of the TP-LINK Business Wireless and Switching portfolio. Provide comprehensive market analysis and idea’s on how to further enhance our product and service offering.
    • The ability to build and leverage distribution relationships to identify new reseller and B2B opportunities (Distributors include Exertis, Tech Data, Spire, CMS, Nimans)
    • Effectively communicate account progress and pipeline of opportunities to the TP-LINK management team through weekly reporting and regular meetings
    • Work within a team environment and offer support to other areas of the business when required, occasional tradeshow cover and training activities.
    • Segmentation and development of key partners using sound judgment and effective time management to develop Tier one customers, including the utilisation of the TP-LINK unmanaged account base to identify new development opportunities.

     

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Full UK driving license with a view to visit customers across the whole of the UK depending on office locations, this may entail occasional overnight stop-overs.
    • Strong customer facing skills with competence in training, presentations and professional business planning.
    • Ability to work in a team environment but also as an individual contributor, someone with self motivation and a desire to deliver results.
    • Minimum 5 years working experience within a Networking vendor, Distributor or Systems Integrator in a sales or pre-sales capacity
