Why don’t features like Parental Controls/QoS/Blocked Devices work on my device?
To further protect user privacy, iOS 14, Android 10, and later versions have released a new feature called Private Address. Devices of these versions can use a different MAC address with each WiFi network. When configuring features like Parental Controls/QoS/Blocked Devices, if you just add a device with its private address for the network, the device can still use a different MAC address to join the network and it will not be controlled.
To fully control the target device using Parental Controls/QoS/Blocked Devices, pay attention to the new device connection alerts and add the target device to the controlled list in time.
