How to reset the TP-Link Kasa Cam?
You can reset the camera via the RESET/Sync button or Kasa app.
Q1. How to reset the Kasa camera via the RESET/Sync button?
Press and hold the RESET button for 3 to 15 seconds till the LED blinks amber slowly to soft reset to SoftAP mode. Soft reset does not erase the camera settings.
Press and hold the RESET/Sync button for over 15 seconds till the LED blinks amber quickly to reset to factory mode. It will erase all your custom settings and restore the camera to factory defaults.

Q2. How to reset the Kasa camera via the Kasa app?
Only when the camera is online and the LED is solid green, can you reset the camera via Kasa app. Launch the Kasa app, tap on the camera you want to reset on the dashboard. You will be navigated to the camera page, click on the Gear icon at the upper right corner to go to the Device Settings page, then tap on Remove Device at the bottom to reset the camera.
Reset via the Kasa app will restore the camera to factory defaults.
After reset, the camera’s LED will alternate amber and green. You can see the camera’s default Wi-Fi, which is named as Kasa_Cam_XXXX (XXXX is the last four digits of MAC address of camera). If the LED doesn’t alternate amber and green, please try to reset again.
Q3. Where is the RESET/Sync button?
For KC120, you need to remove the magnetic housing on the back of the camera first to find the RESET button.
For KC110, you need to turn the camera lens up to find the RESET button.
For KC200, you need to remove the magnetic mount first. And the RESET button is on the bottom of the camera, near the power USB cable.
For KC300, you can find the Sync button on the back of the camera.
