How to set HomeCare QoS feature via TP-Link Tether app

Introduction

This guide will walk you through the steps to setup QoS through TP-Link HomeCare services.

Configuration

Different models have slightly different interfaces. Here we take Archer C5400 as an example.

Note: Please connect to your router’s wireless network before following this guide.

Step 1. Open the TP-Link Tether app. Sign in to your TP-Link Cloud account or register one if you do not yet have one.

Step 2. Once Logged in, Tap the the device card for your router.

"My device" page.

Step 3. Tap on HomeCare at the bottom of the screen.

"Home" page.

Step 4. Tap on QoS.

"Homecare" page.

Step 5. Chose a preset filter or choose Custom.

Step 6. If you chose “Custom” you can move the sliders to your desired levels then tap Save.
