3G/4G Compatibility of xDSL modem routers

TP-LINK xDSL modem router is mainly designed to access Internet by xDSL line. But customers may have various Internet access ways such as a 3G/4G dongle. To make our xDSL Modem router more capable, we developed 3G/4G Router Mode and Wireless Router Mode as additional functions for it.

                                                 Operation Modes

1. Is there a 3G/4G compatibility list provided for TP-link xDSL Modem Router?

There are many different brands of 3G/4G USB modems (dongles) in the market. Since USB modem compatibility is not Global GM, we don’t provide a compatibility list for our customers.

If you need to use 3G/4G function of TP-Link xDSL modem router, we recommend you perform a test to check if 3G/4G modem really works with our router before you buy one.

2. It’s much appreciated that our customers can share compatible modems info at TP-LINK forum.

If you found a 3G/4G dongle which works with our router, please share this information at our forum post. Then other customer will benefit a lot from your info when choosing 3G/4G dongles.

Notice: The compatible 3G/4G dongles are offered by our customers. We can’t guarantee that 3G/4G dongles can fully works with TP-Link xDSL modem router. So you are strongly recommended to test the 3G/4G dongles with TP-LINK xDSL Modem Router before you buy it.
