How to change wireless settings of TP-Link range extender on Tether APP
259855 This article will show you how you can change the wireless settings of the TP-Link range extender on the Tether App.
NOTE: If your range extender is in a OneMesh network, it automatically synchronizes network settings from your router. Need to turn off Onemesh to change the wireless settings.
For Tether APP:
1. Please login your TP-Link range extender on Tether APP. The password would be admin or the new password you have created.
2. On the main screen of the TP-Link range extender, click on Extended Network and change the Network Name for your Extended Network.
Note: The wireless password of the TP-Link extended network should be exactly the same as your host network and we cannot change it on the TP-Link extender.
3. Or you can click on Tools on the bottom of main screen of TP-Link range extender. Then go to Extended Network and change the wireless network name.
