TP-Link MWC 2026 On-Site Raffle - Terms & Conditions - TP-Link

1. Organizer

This promotional raffle (the “Raffle”) is organized by TP-Link (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) in connection with its participation in MWC 2026, held in Barcelona, Spain.

The Organizer is responsible for the proper conduct of the Raffle in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable laws.

 

2. Activity Period

The Raffle will take place from 2 March to 4 March 2026, inclusive.

One (1) independent draw will be conducted on each day of the Activity Period. Entries are valid only for the day on which they are submitted and will not carry over to subsequent days.

 

3. Eligibility

Participation is open exclusively to natural persons who:

• Are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of participation;
• Are duly registered attendees of MWC 2026;
• Register in person at the TP-Link stand during the Activity Period in accordance with Section 4 below.

Participation is voluntary and free of charge.

Employees, representatives, contractors, or agents of the Organizer and its affiliated or group companies, as well as their immediate family members, may be excluded from participation at the Organizer’s discretion.

The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

 

4. How to Participate

To enter the Raffle, participants must:

1. Physically attend the TP-Link stand during the Activity Period;
2. Allow the Organizer’s authorized staff to scan the QR code contained on the participant’s official MWC event pass.

Upon successful scanning of the event pass, the participant will be automatically registered for that day’s Raffle draw.

 

Important Conditions

• Only in-person registrations conducted at the TP-Link stand are valid.
• Remote, online, or third-party registrations are strictly prohibited.
• Each participant may register only once per day.

The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation where technical, operational, or compliance issues arise.

 

5. Prizes

Each day during the Activity Period, the following prizes will be awarded:

• One (1) Grand Prize: 4K Outdoor Security Camera – Tapo TC92 KIT
• Five (5) Secondary Prizes: USB Hub – TP-Link UH5020C

Prizes are:

• Non-transferable;
• Non-exchangeable;
• Not redeemable for cash or alternative products;
• Subject to availability.

The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond its control.

 

6. Winner Selection and Announcement

The draw will take place daily at 17:00 (CET) at the TP-Link stand.

Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received on that specific day. The selection process will be conducted using a randomization method determined by the Organizer to ensure impartiality.

Winners will be announced:

• Via live display of the draw results on the large screen at the TP-Link stand; and
• Through TP-Link’s official LinkedIn channel.

If a selected winner is not present at the stand at the time of announcement, the Organizer may:

• Attempt to contact the winner using the contact details collected during registration; or
• Select an alternate winner if the original winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within a reasonable timeframe.

The Organizer’s decision shall be final and binding.

 

7. Personal Data Protection

The Organizer processes participants’ personal data in strict compliance with:

• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”);
• Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights;
• Any other applicable data protection legislation.

 

7.1 Data Collected

By participating in the Raffle, the following personal data may be collected through the badge scanning process:

• Full name;
• Company name;
• Job title;
• Email address;
• Country of residence;
• Any additional information contained within the MWC event pass QR code.

No special categories of personal data are intentionally collected.

 

7.2 Purposes of Processing

Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

• Administration and management of the Raffle;
• Verification of eligibility;
• Conducting the prize draw;
• Public announcement of winners (name and/or company, where applicable);
• Contacting winners for prize delivery or coordination;
• Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

Where the participant provides informed consent, personal data may additionally be processed for the purpose of sending marketing communications relating to TP-Link products, services, and events.

 

7.3 Legal Basis for Processing

The legal bases for processing are:

• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract (administration of the Raffle);
• Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations;
• Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – explicit consent (for marketing communications, where applicable).

 

7.4 Data Retention

Personal data collected for the purpose of administering the Raffle will be retained only for the period necessary to:

• Complete the Raffle;
• Deliver prizes;
• Address potential claims or legal obligations.

Marketing data (where consent has been provided) will be retained until the participant withdraws consent or objects to processing.

 

7.5 Data Sharing and Transfers

Personal data will not be sold or disclosed to unaffiliated third parties.

Data may be shared with:

• Authorized service providers acting on behalf of the Organizer under appropriate data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 GDPR;
• Competent authorities where required by applicable law.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V GDPR will be implemented.

 

7.6 Data Subject Rights

Participants have the right to:

• Access their personal data;
• Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request erasure of their personal data;
• Request restriction of processing;
• Object to processing;
• Request data portability;
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in their Member State of residence or in Spain.

 

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer shall not be liable for:

• Technical failures, including badge scanning errors or event infrastructure malfunctions;
• Lost, delayed, incomplete, or invalid registrations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control;
• Force majeure events that prevent the proper execution of the Raffle.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Raffle where necessary due to force majeure, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

 

9. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the Raffle constitutes full, unconditional, and irrevocable acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

In the event of dispute, the Organizer’s interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, subject to applicable law.
