How to shut off "Enable bidirectional support" and enable "LPR Byte Counting" on Windows OS?
Sometimes we may meet with some printing problems that requires us to shut off the “Enable bidirectional support” and enable ““LPR Byte Counting” on computer. This text is about the way to find the “Enable bidirectional support” and “LPR Byte Counting” option on computer (For Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1):
How to shut off the “Enable bidirectional support”?
1. Open the control panel and find "View devices and printers" in the "Hardware and Sound"
2. Right click on the printer, and check “Printer Properties” in the coming menu:
3. In the new printer properties window, please choose the “Port” sheet, and find the bidirectional option on the bottom:
How to Enable the “LPR Byte Counting”?
