How to log into the Web GUI of my brand new 11N Range Extender (new logo)?
Note: If you want to configure other settings after Quick Setup, you can launch a web browser and type http://tplinkrepeater.net and log in with the password you set for the extender. This article is only applied to the situation for configure the range extender from scratch.
Here takes TL-WA820RE as demonstration:
1. Connect your computer to the extender's wireless network.
Tips: Before connecting, please find the SSID (network name) on the label of the extender.
• For Windows Users
1) Unplug the Ethernet cable from your computer (if any).
2) Click the Wireless Network Connection icon on the taskbar.
3) Click the refresh icon and connect to the extender’s wireless network: TP-LINK_Extender.
• For Mac OS X Users
1) Unplug the Ethernet cable from your computer (if any).
2) Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner of the screen, and connect to the extender’s network: TP-LINK_Extender.
2. Launch a web browser and type http://tplinkrepeater.net in the address field. Create a password for secure management purpose, and then click Start. (If it requires username at the beginning please type in admin)
