Tapo P300 Smart Wi-Fi Power Strip Setup Guide
Welcome to the setup guide.
To ensure equal access for all users, we offer this accessible setup guide. This guide is designed to meet accessibility needs, enabling a successful setup. It will introduce the appearance of the smart Wi-Fi power strip and then guide you through the setup process.
Step 1. Know about your smart power strip
In this section, we will describe the smart power strip's appearance.
1. You can find your power strip in the package.
2. Next, place the product in front of you with the socket facing horizontally and the power cord to your left. We will walk through the appearance of your product from left to right.
Power Button: There is only one button on the product. When your power strip is powered on, you can press the button to turn the smart power strip on or off, or press and hold the button for 5 seconds to reset Wi-Fi while preserving other existing settings, or press and hold the button for 10 seconds to reset to factory default settings.
3 Smart Outlets: You can touch three round sockets, which individually control up to three connected devices using app or voice command.
USB Ports: There are two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. Each delivers up to 18 W of power.
Step 2. Set Up
1. Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play, then log in.
2. Plug in your smart power strip. Wait 2 seconds for the power strip to start up. You can hear a clicking sound.
3. Tap the + button in the app and select your power strip model. Follow app instructions to complete setup.
