Ready to begin? Let’s start exploring your Powerline adapter and get connected!

1. Package Content

The package includes powerline adapters, RJ45 Ethernet cables, and user guides.

• Powerline Adapter

The Powerline Kit includes two Powerline adapters. One is used to connect to the router’s LAN port via an Ethernet cable to access the internet. The other one is used to provide secure wired networks for desktops, smart TVs, games consoles, and more.

• Ethernet Cable

The Ethernet cable is a thick, smooth cord with a slightly stiff feel. It has a rectangular plastic connector at each end, with a small lever-like clip on top. To use it, align the connector with the Ethernet port on your device and push it in until you hear or feel a click. The clip helps secure the connection; you can press it down to remove the cable when needed.

2. Appearance

Your Powerline adapter may differ slightly in appearance because of the region and product version.

Each Powerline adapter has three LEDs indicating its working status, an Ethernet port at the bottom, an integrated electrical socket and a Pair button on its front.

• Power Plug

The Powerline adapter has a power plug on the top of the back that can be connected to any standard power socket. The provided plug may differ slightly in appearance due to different regions and power specifications. Remember to plug it directly into a wall instead of a power strip.

• Integrated Electrical Socket

The integrated electrical socket is a big recessed circle on its front, used as an electrical outlet expansion for power strip or household appliances.

• Ethernet Port

The Ethernet ports are located at the bottom in a square shape. Connect the Ethernet port to your wired devices, such as a router, a computer, a smart TV, or a game console, via Ethernet cables.

• Pair Button

The Pair button is a small rectangle in the lower-right corner of the front of the Powerline adapter. Press and hold for 1 second to set up or join a secure powerline network. Press and hold for more than 6 seconds to reset the powerline adapter.

• Product Label

The product label is on the back of your Powerline adapter. The model name, Powerline Key and MAC address are provided on the label.

• LED Light

Each Powerline adapter has three LED lights on its front. From up to down are Power LED, Powerline LED, Ethernet LED. They change colors according to their status. You can also check your network status from the tpPLC Utility.
