This guide provides a brief introduction to HS210 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch, 3-Way.

Features available in Kasa may vary by model and software version. Kasa availability may also vary by region. All images, steps, and descriptions in this guide are only examples and may not reflect your actual Kasa experience.

Smart Switch makes it easy to replace 3-way switches common in living rooms, stairways, and halls. No need to understand complex 3-way switch wiring or master vs. auxiliary switch configurations. Free Kasa app guides you through easy step-by-step installation.

Control Lights from Two Locations -The Smart Light Switch 3-way gives you smart lighting control experience from two locations ideal for living rooms, halls and stairways. Simply replicate the wiring from old switches and the switch will take care of the rest. The Kasa app guides you through installation and connecting to your home Wi-Fi network.

Step 1. Download Kasa Smart App
Get the Kasa Smart app from the App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code below.

Step 2. Log In
Open the app, and log in with your TP-Link ID. If you don't have an account, create one first.

Tap the  button, choose Add Device in the app, and search for your model. Follow the app instructions to wire your switch and complete the setup.

Safety Information

Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity or hot environments. 
Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device. If you need service, please contact us. 
Do not use the device where wireless devices are not allowed. 
Follow all national and local safety regulations and practices. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable when performing the installation, consult a qualified electrician.
• High Voltage - Disconnect power supply at the circuit breaker before servicing.
• Install only in a suitable UL or equivalent Listed outlet box.(suitable dimensions: W > 2.83in./72mm, H > 1.81in./46mm, D > 3.15in./80mm).)
• CAUTION – Risk of electric Shock – More than one disconnect switch may be required to de-energize the equipment before servicing. A circuit breaker which disconnects the Live and Neutral conductor simultaneously is suitable. Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker before removing or installing any wall switch.
• The manufacturer’s assigned screw torque.
• Do not install the Smart Switch with wet hands or when standing on wet or damp surfaces. 
• Use copper conductors only.
• Use 16 AWG or larger wires rated for at least 75℃ (167 F).
• Tighten terminal screws to 13 lbf-in..
• Use copper conductors
