TP-Link Maintains Lead in Global WLAN Market

(Shenzhen, China) – September 26, 2012--TP-Link, a global provider of networking products, has continued to maintain a dominant lead in the global WLAN market share rankings by units shipped, according to the IDC Worldwide Quarterly WLAN Tracker - 2012 Q2 Final Release, released by leading IT market research and advisory firm IDC, ranking the world’s wireless networking equipment vendors by product shipments and revenues.
With a 32.94% share of the WLAN market in the first half of the year, based on products shipped, TP-Link has gained the lead both in Q1 and Q2 over competing vendors, seeing more shipment volume than the next two leading vendors combined. This is not, however, the first time that TP-Link has topped the WLAN industry, having, according to the same report, been consistently ranked the world’s largest supplier of Wireless networking products, at least from Q1 2011, the earliest data that IDC has on record for TP-Link, where WLAN market share was 26.8%.
Since entering the international market in 2005, TP-Link has been focused on the Networking industry and already having taken the leading market share both at home and abroad. It seems that the success of the company is inevitable. In tandem with large investments into R&D and strict quality control has allowed the company to provide networking devices of the highest quality.
