KE110 Kasa Room Thermostat

Welcome to the setup guide.

To ensure equal access for all users, we offer this accessible setup guide. This guide is designed to meet accessibility needs, enabling a successful setup. It will introduce the appearance of your device, including its ports, buttons and labels, and then guide you through the setup process.

Step 1. Know about your room thermostat

In this section, we will describe the appearance of your Room Thermostat, including its buttons and labels.

1. You can find your device and provided batteries in the package.

2. Next, place your device on a horizontal surface such as on a shelf or desktop, with the screen facing forward and the three protruded buttons on the lower side. 

3. After positioning your device correctly, we will introduce the buttons and labels on your device in a certain order.

Screen: It shows the temperature, humidity, connection status and more information.

Lower Temperature Button (Downward arrow icon): Lower temperature (When activated)

On/Off Button (Circle icon): Turn on/off heating

Increase Temperature Button (Upward arrow icon): Raise temperature (When activated)

Lower Temperature Button + Increase Temperature Button: Press and hold simultaneously for 3 seconds to enable/disable child lock.

On/Off Button + Increase Temperature Button: Press and hold simultaneously for 3 seconds to enable/disable Boost Heating.

Turn to the right panel to find the Switch Display/SYNC Button.

Switch Display/SYNC: Press and hold for 5 seconds to reset your device to enter pairing mode. Single press to switch the display template. 

Product label: The product label is above the battery compartment of the device through laser engraving.

Step 2. Install and Set Up

1. Get the Kasa Smart app from the App Store or Google Play, then log in.

2. A Kasa hub is required before setting up the device.

3. Tap the + button in the app and select your device model. Follow app instructions to complete setup.
