TP-Link TL-WR541G—solid internet sharing for half the price
    9th November 2006

This inexpensive wireless router provides the essentials while leaving out the frills. In our tests the TL-WR541G delivered solid connections at the same range as routers costing much more. It has the usual four-port 10/100 Ethernet switch and the router includes the usual features such as a (relatively simple) firewall, access controls, WPA2 authentication, DHCP and port triggering. The web-based configuration is as easy to use as better-known brands’, though Mac OS X users will need Firefox or Camino rather than Safari. Super G mode provides faster WLAN speeds when used with corresponding adaptors. If you can afford broadband internet, you can almost certainly afford the TL-WR541G as well so you can share the connection between multiple computers or just to get the convenience of wireless networking.
