TP-Link´S TL-WR543G WINS 2007 IT PRODUCT OF THE YEAR IN CZECH COMPUTER WORLD MAGAZINE
TP-Link’s TL-WR543G has been awarded “IT Product of the Year” by Czech Computer Magazine. Judged primarily on affordability, range, and security features the TL-WR543G has proven itself as one of TP-Link’s most successful networking products. Although this is not the first time that TP-Link has won an award in Europe, it is the first time having a product achieve the “Product of the Year” distinction in Europe.
The TL-WR543G Wireless AP Client Router provides 2 operation modes for multiple users to access the Internet: AP Client Router mode and AP Router mode, ideal for both wired and wireless Home and Small Office (SOHO) use.
The TL-WR543G 54M also features comprehensive security. In AP Router Mode, it can be set to turn off the wireless network name (SSID) broadcast so that only stations that have the SSID can be connected. The router also provides wireless LAN 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption security, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication, as well as TKIP/AES encryption security. It also supports VPN pass-through for sensitive data secure transmission.
The TL-WR543G 54M Wireless AP Client Router complies with IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b standards so that the data transmission rate is up to 54Mbps. It adopts 2x to 3x eXtended Range™ WLAN data transmission technology so that the transmission distance could be up to 855.36 meters (tested in China), which is 2-3 times of traditional IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b solutions. The transmission range is extended 4 to 9 times. It is also compatible with all IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b products.
