Changes to TP-Link Tapo Services in the Sultanate of Oman

Important Announcement for TP-Link Tapo Users in the Sultanate of Oman

    Dear TP-Link Tapo Users,

We would like to inform you about an important update regarding the usage of 2-way audio, Tapo Care Subscription, and cloud management services in the Sultanate of Oman, in accordance with the government's policies.

Effective immediately*, due to government regulations, the use of 2-way audio functionality on TP-Link Tapo devices will be blocked within the territory of the Sultanate of Oman. This change is aimed at ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Furthermore, TP-Link Tapo Care Subscription and cloud management services will also be unavailable for users in Oman. We are actively working with relevant authorities to explore alternative solutions that align with the government's policies, while continuing to provide valuable features and services to our users.

We understand that this change may affect some of our users' experiences, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our team is dedicated to finding suitable solutions to meet the regulatory requirements without compromising on the quality and security of our products.

Rest assured, the remaining features of your TP-Link Tapo devices will continue to function as usual. You will still be able to enjoy the benefits of monitoring, controlling, and automating your devices through local network connectivity.

For any further information or assistance, please reach out to our customer support team, who are available to help you through this transition period.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these regulatory adjustments. TP-Link remains committed to delivering innovative and reliable smart home solutions, and we will continue to adapt to local policies to ensure compliance.

Thank you for your continued support.
