TP-Link is aware of a bug that has caused excessive NTP requests originating from our Range Extenders.  All range extenders utilize NTP requests as a method to check for a live internet connection.  This handshake is typical in networking equipment and is used as a keep alive measure.  However, the NTP requests generated by TP-Link range extenders occur more frequently than necessary.  This FAQ will provide updated information as firmware becomes available to resolve this bug.
