Question: How many Access Point, each OC200 is able to manage?

Answer: Every OC200 is able currently to manage 100 Access Points, if the local configuration is simple (just SSIDs & PWDs). If the local configuration requires more features, such as Portals, Facebook, Advertisements, Vouchers … etc., then this manageability per OC200, is decreasing. The “worst” level is 50 Access Points.   

 

Question: Is it possible to have more than one OC200 at the same infrastructure?

Answer: Of course yes, as long as, each OC200 is managing, deferent Access Points.

 

Question: If I don’t have an OC200, am I able to have free cloud access to my Access Points? Through https://omada.tplinkcloud.com   

Answer: Of course yes, as long as, there is an active PC/Workstation, with a properly running EAP Controller

 

Question: Is there any feature of EAP Controller which is excluded from the OC200 ?

Answer: No, there is not.

Question: Where can I find the updated software firmware for the Access Points, when I’m using EAP Controller?

Answer: You can find them at the following webpage https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/eap-controller/#Controller_Software . Please choose the proper one according to the H/W version of the Access Point that you have. For example, you may find it for the EAP115 (V.4) at [ EAP115_V4 ] and you may find it for the EAP115 (V.1) at [ EAP115_V1 ].
