Why I cannot control the shortcut through Alexa voice command?
1421 What is shortcut?
Shortcut means one button function, activating an action by click the shortcut button.
Deco M6 supports two kinds of shortcuts, one is normal Shortcut, and the other is Shortcut with Alexa, which can also be activated by Alexa voice command.
Note: To use the Alexa Shortcut normally, you need to enable TP-Link Skill. Click here for how.
What should I do if Alexa can’t find the Shortcut with Alexa?
1. Make sure firstly that you have created the Shortcut supported by Amazon Alexa.
2. Open Alexa APP, in Menu – Smart Home – Scenes, DISCOVER again until find the Shortcut.
3. Every time after adding/deleting Alexa Shortcut, you need to DISCOVER again in the Alexa app to make sure the Alexa Shortcut is discovered correctly.
