The DHCP function is disabled as default in TP-Link wireless access point to avoid conflicts in the network. Before logging into the Web-based Utility, you need assign a static IP address for your computer.
Step 1：Connect your computer to the LAN port of TP-Link wireless access point with an Ethernet cable.
Step 2： Assign a static IP address for your computer.
Change the IP address of your computer to 192.168.0.10, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 and leave other options blank. Click OK to save your settings

Step 3： Open the web browser and type the IP address of the access point (Default is 192.168.0.254) into the address bar and then Press Enter.
Step 4： Type the username and password into the boxes of the login page, the default username and password both are admin, then press Enter.

After you finish the settings on the wireless Access Point, please change the Properties of your Network Connection to: Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS Server address automatically.
