[FAQ ID: 375]How do I log into the Web-based management page of Wireless Access Point? (another case)

Suitable for: TL-MR3020, TL-WA701ND, TL-WA801ND, TL-WA830RE, TL-WA901ND, TL-WR700N, TL-WR702N

The DHCP function is disabled as default in TP-Link wireless access point to avoid conflicts in the network. Before logging into the Web-based Utility, you need assign a static IP address for your computer.

 
Step 1Connect your computer to the LAN port of TP-Link wireless access point with an Ethernet cable.
 
Step 2 Assign a static IP address for your computer.
Change the IP address of your computer to 192.168.0.10, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 and leave other options blank. Click OK to save your settings

Step 3: Open the web browser and type the IP address of the access point (Default is 192.168.0.254) into the address bar and then Press Enter.
 
 
Step 4: Type the username and password into the boxes of the login page, the default username and password both are admin, then press Enter.
 
NOTE:
The above IP settings are for logging into the Web-based Utility of TP-LINK wireless access point for configuring.
        After you finish the settings on the wireless Access Point, please change the Properties of your Network Connection to: Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS Server address automatically.
