How to change wireless settings of TP-Link wireless router on Tether APP

This article applies to TP-Link wireless routers compatible with the Tether app.

Case 1: For Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 Routers

For example: Archer AX72/AXE95/BE800/BE900, Etc.

Step 1: Please log in to your TP-Link wireless router on the Tether app. The password is admin or the new password you created.

Step 2: On the main screen of the TP-Link wireless router, tap Wi-Fi Settings.

Step 3: Change the Network Name and Password for your TP-Link router.

Case 2 For other models

For example: Archer A8/C54/C5400/VR900/MR600, Etc.

Step 1: Please log in to your TP-Link wireless router on the Tether app. The password is admin or the new password you created.

Step 2: On the TP-Link wireless router's main screen, click Tools -> Wireless.

Step 3: Change the Network Name and Password for your TP-Link router.
