    TP-Link® Unveils New Smart Plug Mini, Compatible with Amazon Alexa and No Hub Required

    BREA, Calif. – Dec. 8, 2016 – TP-Link®, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, today announced its latest smart home device, the HS105 Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini. The new TP-Link Smart Plug Mini enables consumers to control electronic devices from anywhere using the Kasa app, without the need for a smart hub or bridge. Available now in stores and online at Fry’s and Micro Center, TP-Link.com and other leading retailers, HS105 Smart Plugs join TP-Link’s current smart home portfolio that includes smart plugs, smart plugs with energy monitoring and a variety of smart bulbs all of which are compatible with Amazon Alexa.

    With its compact design, TP-Link HS105 Smart Plugs are only 1.5 inches thick, allowing consumers to plug into a power outlet without blocking adjacent sockets. Its sleek design blends harmoniously into any room decor.  

    Using TP-Link’s Kasa app, consumers can easily manage devices connected to their HS105 Smart Plugs from one location, with no hub required. Consumers may program lamps, fans or other devices to operate based on their daily and weekly routines by setting schedules, timers or countdowns.
