    TP-Link® Launches Whole Home Hybrid Mesh Wi-Fi System AC1300 + AV600 Deco P7

Shenzhen, China, Jul. 27, 2018 – TP-Link®, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, today announced the launch of the Whole Home Hybrid Mesh Wi-Fi System – Deco P7, the newest addition to the brand’s lineup of mesh solutions. This is a hybrid mesh Wi-Fi system that supports powerline networking, aimed at providing Wi-Fi that is “Fast. Stable. Everywhere.”

Dual-band AC1300 Wi-Fi and AV600 powerline connections combine to create a seamless, fast whole home network. Powerline backhaul allows data to move through walls and other structures without losing strength, thus eliminating weak signal areas. Users can enjoy fast, secure Wi-Fi for over 100 connected devices with Deco P7. TP-Link HomeCareTM is integrated and provides a kit of robust built-in features including Parental Controls, Antivirus and Quality of Service (QoS), helping users create a personalized and secure family network. Network management is a breeze thanks to an intuitive mobile app with clear guidance and attractive visuals.

    Wi-Fi Dead-Zone Killer

Deco units in different rooms work together to form one unified whole home network to eliminate weak signal areas. Phones and tablets automatically switch to the fastest Deco as users move through their homes, creating a truly seamless online experience. Support for IEEE 802.11r as well as 802.11k/v makes roaming from one Deco to another smooth and unnoticeable, even when streaming.

With each unit covering 2000 square feet and powerline networking, Deco P7 delivers a whole home Wi-Fi coverage without limits*1 and eliminates Wi-Fi dead spots. You can add more Deco units for coverage expansion based on your home environment and house size.

    Mesh Wi-Fi with Powerline

Deco P7 is a mesh router that supports powerline networking, ensuring the network works through walls. Powerline technology uses your home’s electrical wiring to create stronger connections between Deco units. Wi-Fi integrated by powerline acts as link aggregation and boosts bandwidth effectively. According to the actual test, backhaul bandwidth is improved by up to 60% in hybrid Wi-Fi system than a standard one.

Thanks to the powerline technology, Deco P7 can be placed anywhere you want in your house, as long as there is a socket. No restrictions from thick walls or long distance. Enjoy mesh Wi-Fi everywhere. From 4K video streaming or video chatting, to gaming and web surfing, Deco P7 intelligently identifies the strongest path and connection for every device to ensure uninterrupted Wi-Fi in every corner of your home - even the backyard.

    Comprehensive Threat Protection

With advanced HomeCareTM powered by Trend MicroTM*2, Deco P7 is one of the most secure Mesh Wi-Fi systems on the market. TP-Link HomeCare includes robust parental controls, built-in antivirus and traffic-optimizing quality of service (QoS), safeguarding every connected device on the network from outside malware and hackers. Malicious site blocking takes the extra step of preventing users from accessing malicious websites. The system is kept current through updates via Trend Micro, ensuring your network is always protected from new threats.

    Connects over 100 Devices

Beneath the stylish exterior is a Qualcomm Quad-core CPU, giving Deco P7 the processing power to support over 100 devices. 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology and 3x faster AC1300 dual band provide lag-free connections, ensuring a smooth gaming and 4K streaming experience. Multiple applications are handled with ease to deliver smooth and stable Wi-Fi for every device in the home.

    Easy-to-Use App

The Deco app walks you through every step with clear directions and simple visuals, making setup fast and easy. It also lets you completely control and manage your network from the palm of your hand. You can easily limit and monitor internet use and even pause the internet for an individual family member or the entire home.
