Los switches serie T3700 soportan protocolos de ennrutamiento de capa 3 incluyendo Enrutamiento Estático,RIP, OSPF y VRRP, ayudando a contruir redes escalables y fiables. Protocolos de enrutamiento Multicast como PIM-SM y PIM-DM aseguran un enrutamiento eficiente para grupos multicast.
Tecnología de Apilamento Físico
Los switches están equipados con 2 puertos 10G SFP+ fijos y 2 opcionales que pueden ser usados para apilamiento. T3700G-52TQ soporta hasta 8 switches para la simplificación de la red, y hasta 384 puertos GE, 32 Gigabit combo SFP y 32 10G SFP+ por cada stack físico, proporcionando hasta 1408Gbps de capacidad total de switching en la red. Con todas las unidades identificadas por una simpe dirección IP, el apilamiento puede ser fácilmente configurado y monitorizado.
Puertos de gestión abundantes
Los switches de la serie T3700 proporcionan 3 tipos de puertos de gestión: puertos de consola RJ45, puerto de consola Micro-USB y puertos de gestión RJ45 fuera de banda. Los puertos de consola Micro-USB están diseñados para aquellos portátiles que no soportan la interfaz RS232 (DB9). Los clientes pueden usar un cable USB para gestionar switches vía CLI (interfaz de comando en línea). El puerto de gestión RJ45 fuera de banda es usado solamente para gestión WEB, dejando a los puertos RJ45 libres para la transmisión de datos.
