TP-Link shows all its news from its smart home line in MWC2019

BARCELONA - February 21, 2019 - TP-Link, the leading manufacturer of connectivity solutions for companies and consumers, is bringing to the Mobile World Congress (MWC), being held in Barcelona from February 25 to February 28, its Kasa Smart line, which already offers intelligent home solutions to 2.5 million users. In stand A6 H20 of Pavilion 6 of Fira de Barcelona, the brand shows its latest developments, among which are new models of cameras, smart bulbs, and smart plugs, delivering a smart home experience to any user.

The entire Kasa Smart portfolio works with Wi-Fi technology and is compatible with Amazon's Alexa and The Google Assistant, allowing devices to be controlled via voice commands.

    Cameras

TP-Link exhibits three models of intelligent security cameras KC120, KC100, and K200. The first two models are designed for indoor use while the KC200 is a wireless camera engineered for outdoor use and comes equipped with a rechargeable battery.

All three models record high-resolution 1080p video and incorporate two-way audio channels, allowing you to easily communicate with the person you see on the camera. In addition, they offer a 130º video angle and night vision, to keep your home safe—day or night. They also allow you to see live images on your Android or iOS smartphone through the Kasa app and delimit the recording areas—to focus on specific places in the room, such as a window or a door. They instantly send alerts and images when sound or movement is detected and automatically store all recorded activity for three hours.

    Smart plugs

The smart plugs HS100 and HS110 allow remote control of any home electronic device plugged into it, such as appliances or lights, from an iOS or Android mobile device through the Kasa app. Turn your home devices or turn it off remotely—even when you’re out of the house. The HS110 even monitors energy consumption to help you save on your utility bills.

    Smart bulbs

TP-Link is also going to show its line of smart Wi-Fi LED bulbs. A new name and an updated design give a fresher and more modern look and feel. This is exemplified in the new addition of the KL130. TP-Link's smart light bulbs give you complete control of home lighting—wherever you are— via your phone through the Kasa app for Android and iOS or through voice commands thanks to compatibility with Amazon's Alexa, The Google Assistant, and Cortana from Microsoft. As Nelson Qiao, country manager of TP-Link Iberia, explained "TP-Link's offer of smart bulbs reduces energy consumption by up to 80% without compromising brightness or quality, which ultimately translates into savings for the user's".

The KL110 smart light bulb allows you to regulate the intensity of the LED light to meet your needs without requiring connection to a hub. Set the desired brightness to create the perfect atmosphere for any mood or activity. Turn the light bulb to maximum light to help your children get up in the morning or dim it so that they fall asleep at night.

For its part, the KL130 smart light bulb can be programmed so that light changes to the colors of your favorite team on a Friday night or soften it for a romantic evening. With a wide palette of colors and attenuation features, the multicolored KL130 bulb offers endless possibilities to illuminate your home.
