Trigger and Action list of IFTTT that TP-Link Wi-Fi products Support?

IFTTT service is currently supported by some TP-Link Wi-Fi products. To use TP-Link service, you need to know the TP-Link Trigger and Action.

The list is the Trigger and Action TP-Link service supports and will be updated frequently since TP-Link is working to make it support more Triggers and Actions.

When choose TP-Link Trigger or Action, you need to do one more step to finish configuration.

Trigger

New Device Connects

The trigger fires every time a new device connects to your TP-Link router.

The device has never connected to the router before is defined as New Device.

Device Connects

The trigger fires every time a previously-connected device connects to your TP-Link router.

The device connected to the router before and has been recorded by the router.

Device Disconnect

The trigger fires every time a previously-connected device disconnects from your TP-Link router.

Action

Prioritize Online Activity

Run one of the online activity from Gaming, Streaming, Surfing, Chatting, Custom and Standard.

Specified online activity such as Game, Video Stream or Web Surfing will be prioritized.

Prioritize Device

Prioritize a selected device for a duration.

You can prioritize the device for 1/2/4 hours or forever.

 

Note:

1. IFTTT service is invalid for Guest Network of the routers.

2. If works in AP mode, the router can’t work with IFTTT service.

3. All Deco mesh products, making up a network system, work together as a group with the IFTTT service. We suggest you to connect IFTTT service to the new SSID if you create a new network.

These are some examples of Applets working with TP-Link Router.

Applet 1: If a new device connects to Archer C5400_V2, then ask Archer C5400_V2 to prioritize Snow’s phone for 2 hours.

Applet 2: If Snow’s laptop connects to Deco M5, then ask Deco M5 to prioritize Gaming Mode.

You can also make TP-Link Router work with other services.

Applet 3: If the camera on the doorway disconnects from Archer C5400_V2, then send a notification from the IFTTT app to let me know.
