    Role Summary

    Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be supporting the execution of all marketing activities for TP-Link Canada.  The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the project management of a wide variety of marketing programs utilizing market knowledge, creativity and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute key marketing communications strategies that align to corporate business goals and objectives and consistent with branding guidelines.

    • Work with designers and other creative staff to produce marketing collateral in accordance with brand messages.
    • Ensure all marketing and communications materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline.
    • Help to ensure all products, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
    • Manage marketing projects and other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

     

    Requirements

    • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
    • 1-2 years of direct work experience in a marketing or communications.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge in Graphic Design tools an asset.

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Good knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
    • Ability to take vague concepts, processes and develop solutions and complete projects.
    • A passion for new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends.

    • Help to ensure all products, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
    • Edit, proofread and/or translate a variety of marketing materials, general correspondence and other documents to ensure that all communications are appropriately worded.
    • Manage projects and other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

     

    Essential Qualifications

    • Post-secondary education in Marketing, PR, Communications or equivalent.
    • 3 years of direct work experience in a marketing communications capacity.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge in Graphic Design tools an asset.
    • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and presentation skills.
    • Ability to understand and develop new ideas and concepts quickly and to ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience.

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Bilingual in English & French a highly desired asset.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
    • Ability to establish effective relationships with outsourced resources including third party vendors and agencies.
    • Experience with content development system and knowledge of HTML and CSS.
    • Ability to take vague concepts, processes and develop solutions and complete projects.
    • A passion for new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends.
