The UK's leading laptop buying guide website whatlaptop.techradar.com chose TP-Link's TL-WR1043ND 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router as a What Laptop “GOLD” product with a 9 out of 10 rating after a comprehensive group test, citing the fastest recorded transmission speed and additional USB sharing port.
The review noted that although TL-WR1043ND had no difference with other routers at short range, it had the fastest speed in the 10-meter range test with two thick walls separating each laptop. Noted in the review, this super speed resulted from utilizing three antennas to ramp up the standard 2.4GHz signal to its maximum. When it came to the price of this product, the article used “Too good to be true” to describe its competitive price for a wireless N model.
